What I Don't Do

In House Tech Issues

I will never be staying at your place. There will be things I do not know about. For example, if there is an issue with a TV remote. If a guest calls because they do not know how to work the remote, if it is not something simple, I will be referring them to you if needed but more than likely contact you myself about this. It is the same with a coffee maker, microwave or any other appliance that may need a little know how. When a guest calls about such things, I will be calling you to get this figured out. Of coarse we will try to have all of these things answered prior to any guest stay. So we will then make notes on this so that it doesn't happen again. But from time to time, there are questions that need to be answered.

If your home is needing remodeling or you just want a new look, this is a decision that you need to make on your own. It will be ok to ask for my advice, but I will not be in charge of any of the construction or overseeing any of the work. I am not a contractor so it is best for you that I don't.

If you decide that this is what you want to do, you will need to give me a 90 day notice as guests will have booked and any beyond 90 days I will have to find a new location for them to stay.

I encourage you to decorate for for Christmas. Guests love having a place decorated for the holidays. If you want to black off some time to go do this, just before Thanksgiving is a good time to do it. If you want it decorated but can't get up there yourself, there are companies that charge to go in and do this for you and then take it back down just after the holidays are over. I will be glad to set this up for you and take care of dealing with them.
